With the passage of time the quality and graphics of the games is getting even better. One really wonders how much improvement the game developers can bring into their game as they are already top class in every department. As year 2012 has already started, many new games with original concept will be release this year as well as the sequels of other popular franchises.
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning
The game is a single player RPG by 38 studios. It has all the potential to be a great hit among gamers. Todd McFarlance (creator of Spawn) is responsible for its artwork. R.A. Salvatore who is a fantasy author, created the game universe. Its creators say that the game is a combination of two popular games, God of War and Oblivion. This will be a big challenge for the developers as both these games are superb in their own respect. Only time will tell how much success does “Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning” achieves.
Final Fantasy XIII-2
This will be the upgrade for Final Fantasy XIII, which had many problems that the gamers didn’t like at all. It is believed that all these problems will be fixed in the new release of Final Fantasy XIII-2. More freedom in the game play and new towns are added besides improving the battle-system which was already excellent. This game will also include strong storyline and excellent combat system. All these things if added will certainly make this game among the top games. It will be released on PS3 and Xbox 360.
Torchlight II
its first version was good and gamers expect even more from the upcoming release of Torchlight II. Its main features are multiple hub towns and longer campaigns. It is also heard that this game will also include some new features like renewed user interface, weather and time of day cycles. Appearance of the choice of gender during game play including hair and face will also be customizable. It will be released on PC, MAC.
Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch
This game is all about interesting stories. Developed by LEVEL-5 and its animation was done by Studio Ghibli. Game has a lot of potential and it will be released in PS3 and 3DS.
GTA V
Grand Theft Auto has been one of the most popular games in the gaming world and this new release will certainly get lot of attention. Gamers expect lot more from this one and its hype is tremendous.
